Checking In/Out

Checking in is available from 2pm to 7pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early or late check-in and/or check-out is by arrangement only.

Credit Card and Online Payments:

Charges will be made against the card details to confirm your booking. We also offer card payment by phone.
Online reservations require authorization of a credit card to confirm booking.
Clients using Maestro and Discover credit cards are required to pay the booking in full prior to checkin using the following link http://kikiwalodge.nz/additional-payment/ as these cards are not accepted via our regular payment system.

Changes in reservation term:

Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply.
Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms.
Earlier departure other than the reserved date will result in full charges for the booked room unless we can relet the booked accommodation.

Cancellations:

Cancellation within thirty (30) days of arrival date: 25% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellation within fourteen (14) days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price.
Kikiwa Lodge is a intimate boutique accommodation and late cancellations affect us greatly. We will endeavour to rebook the room and if successful will not levy any cancellation charge.
Last minute bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to four (4) hours after the booking has been made. Please see our cancellation policy.
We strongly recommend guests take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans.

Smoking:

This is a smoke free lodge.
There is no smoking inside the lodge or on the grounds.
In the event of someone found to have smoked in the room, additional cleaning charges will apply.
We reserve the right to charge such costs and any resulting loss of income, to the registered guest.

Children:

Kikiwa Lodge is an adult environment that does not cater for children.

Overdue Accounts:

All accounts are payable on departure. We reserve the right to charge overdue/recovery fees on all accounts not paid by due date.

Laundry:

No Laundry facilities are available.

Removed Items:

All items including bed and bath linen located in guest rooms are provided for the comfort of our guests and are not to be removed for any reason.
Any items removed from a guests room will be charged to the guests credit card including freight and any other costs associated with the replacement of the item removed.
